What are the precast wall/column dimensions?
Standard heights for Verti-Crete concrete privacy walls are 4', 6', or 8' tall. Each panel is 12' long and 4" to 5" thick depending on the design. Each concrete column is 20" by 20" square. The spacing then, of each column is 13' 2" from center to center.
How are the concrete walls installed?
Verti-Crete precast columns are installed on top of pier footings. Two pieces of rebar, cast into the footing protrude up through a hollow center within each column. Each precast panel then spans from footing to footing and fits within a groove cast into either side of each column. Once a section of precast wall is assembled and leveled, each column is filled with concrete, anchoring it to the rebar and footing.

How is the final concrete color achieved?
The most common method of coloring precast walls and columns is to apply a specially formulated concrete stain that is designed seal the concrete to resist fading and protect against moisture penetration. After the concrete panels and posts are installed, a base color is applied with an airless spray gun. Then, accent colors are applied to individual stone shapes to create the subtle yet realistic look of actual masonry. The stone-like texture, including grout joints, is created in the Verti-Crete mold itself.

Are Verti-Crete concrete walls cast at my site or precast at a production facility?
Verti-Crete concrete walls are precast within our proprietary Panel and Post Stacker Systems. Generally, the forms are used at a central production facility and then the individual concrete panels and columns are trucked to the job site where they are installed and stained. The concrete molds and forms, however, are designed to be portable. A precast producer may be able to temporarily move the forms and cast at the job site itself if the size and location of the job warrant such a move.
